Bridge design is another complex facet of what we do. FEBA is exacting in following the various guidelines set forth by INDOT and the federal agencies for ensuring the structural integrity of each bridge project we design. Environmental concerns are also typically prevalent in waterway projects. FEBA makes certain that each project complies with environmental rules and regulations. There are times when a historic structure needs to be replaced, requiring a determination of whether or not the existing historic structure can be effectively relocated (in order to pre serve the history of the bridge) prior to the new structure being built. FEBA is experienced in working with the Historic Landmark Foundation in these matters.
Some of FEBA's bridge design projects include:
- Bridge No. 512; Delaware County, Indiana.
- Bridge No. 508; Montgomery County, Indiana.
- SR49 over Crooked Creek; INDOT.
- Bridge No. 607; Madison County, Indiana.
- Bridge No. 263; Lake County, Indiana.
- I-65 over Wabash River; INDOT.
- Two Structure Bridge widening and superstructure replacement project for Indiana Toll
